Product Overview
This brand new Trimble R8 Keypad features a durable membrane circuit made with 3M paper. It includes a flex cable and serves as a replacement for the Trimble R8 5800 Receiver Panel or keypad.
Installation Instructions
- Ensure the keypad area is thoroughly cleaned inside and out.
- Remove the backing from the new keypad and insert the flex cable through the existing hole in the housing, feeding it through fully.
- Press the keypad along the edges to secure it firmly in place.
- To ensure a proper seal, apply a small bead of non-flow, non-corrosive RTV GE128 where the flex cable feeds through the housing.
